Preparing for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will give an orientation to the PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests to high school students and their parents and will offer an overview of strategies for preparing for these tests. Most four-year colleges require submission of these tests for homeschooled students, who may have less experience taking standardized tests than those who have been in school. They usually put great weight on standardized tests in making admissions decisions for homeschooled students because they have limited or no information about the rigor of a homeschool program._x000D_

In addition to providing general test information, study tips, and ways to prepare, the session will discuss the differences between the current PSAT/SAT and changes coming for 2016 and beyond. A general outline of the college and scholarship application process will be covered as well._x000D_

This program is aimed at students and parents of high school age, but families of younger children are welcome to come get an overview as well.
