Six-panel felt balls

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

These balls (with ~12" circumferences) are quick and easy to make and play with, and it's fun to come up with different color combinations for them. The skill level required to make a basic ball is minimal; since there are six seams to sew in order to finish a ball, perseverance is all that's required in order to end up with a finished play-piece. Those who try this craft should be confident needle threaders or have someone with them to help with that requirement. More advanced hand-sewers might like to add embroidered embellishments to their projects before sewing up the final seams. Suggestions include a name or a string of flowers or geometric shapes--as always, free-styling is encouraged.
