Opening Night Entertainment - HypnoTWYz Comedy Hypnosis
HypnoTwy’z comedy hypnosis show turns ordinary people into the stars of the show. See your friends, your coworkers, your family members or your guests become the stars.

Twy James has been performing on stages for 15 years and has a charismatic way of exciting small or large crowds. Twy ushers members of the audience to break out of their shells with the power of hypnosis.

The show is clean and respectful and fun for all audiences. You will see hilarious and amazing things happen when the power of the subconscious mind is released.

Audiences will experience excitement, astonishment and laughter watching a fast-paced show with a customized mix of music while volunteers act out comedy scenarios while under hypnosis actually believing they are really happening. After performing in the show, each will feel an amazing feeling just like they had a full body massage.

So whether you’re in the show or watching in the audience, HypnoTWYz comedy hypnosis show will leave you feeling great and with a memory of a lifetime.

Used Curriculum and Family Entrepeneurial Sale

ONE DAY ONLY!!

It’s a great opportunity to sell educational materials your children are no longer using

AND/OR highlight your family’s talents!!

Nothing to sell? Then come shop for FREE!!

TABLE REGISTRATION: http://www.californiahomeschool.net/chn-store/; $15/each

QUESTIONS: Ann Ryan, Sale Coordinator, curriculumsale@californiahomeschool.net

Participants must be registered for the Expo before purchasing a Sale Table (http://www.californiahomeschool.net/expo/registration/),

and may sell their personal items only (no businesses or foods allowed).

Table reservations will be accepted in the order that they are received.

Used Curriculum Sale:

Sell no longer needed books, curriculum, games, toys, and kits!!

Family Entrepreneurial Sale:

We welcome crafty kids, parents, and grandparents to join in on the fun!

We view this as an educational opportunity for children who would like to develop some marketable products and learn some skills.

** The kids can have their own table OR sell at their family’s table. **

Selling Details:

·         The idea is to have a good time selling!

·         If you would like to attend sessions, you could pair up with a few friends and take turns sitting at the table, or ask your teen or spouse to do it for you.

·         CHN will not be selling the items for you, nor is CHN responsible for any losses.

·         CHN will not be collecting a percentage of your profits – it’s all yours to keep!

A comment from a previous year:

“To be honest, the used curriculum sale was an event in & of itself! There was LOTS of talking about various aspects of homeschooling, pros/cons of various resources, and I even heard a bit of a discussion citing a session the person had been to!”

Used Curriculum and Family Entrepreneurial Sale FAQ
:

Q: Can I leave early?

A: Sure. This is going to be a very casual and fun sale, and when you sell out or get tired, it’s no problem to leave, and if anyone wants to grab your table to spread out, that’s fine too.

Q: How many people can share a table?

A: As many as you like!

You might be crowded at first, but use the under the table space or just keep putting out new stuff, or take turns selling.

Q: When is the deadline for renting a table?

A: We’ll accept table registrations until the room is full.

Q: Can I rent 1/2 a table?

A: No, we tried that one year, and it caused some confusion. If you want 1/2 a table, you can find someone to share the table and cost with you.

Q: Can I attend the sale if I am not registered for the Expo?

A: Yes, anyone can attend the sale, but you must be registered for the Expo to reserve a table.

Q: Will there be Freebie Tables this year?

A: Yes!  Whether you reserve a table or not, you may bring items to place on the Freebie Tables!

High School Graduation
The graduation ceremony is open to all - it is not necessary to be registered for the Expo and no check-in is necessary.  If you are coming for the graduation only, be sure to stop by the CHN info desk to get a ticket for our $5 parking rate in the Marriott structure.

The California Homeschool Network has been hosting a high school graduation ceremony at the annual CHN Family Expo for many years.  It’s always a highlight of the conference.  Why?  Because it is a unique celebration of a moment in time when these homeschoolers lives are about to change.

As homeschool parents, we are so fortunate to be sharing an incredible journey together with our children.   Walking hand in hand on our own unique path that we created together.   The graduation ceremony marks the moment when we come to a fork in the road on that path and we must let go of our child’s hand and allow them to choose which path to walk without us.  While we will always be there to love and support them, the graduation marks a moment of infinite change in their lives as they move forward into adulthood. Join us for this very moving ceremony and be sure to bring your hanky!
