Karen Fernandez is an author, educator, speaker and homeschool mom. She has taught young readers for 15 years in California and early literacy is her passion. Her personal mantra is that reading and writing should be easy and fun for children.

Ms. Fernandez holds a Master's degree in Education and is a Reading Recovery teacher. She resides in san Diego with her husband, daughter, dog and three rabbits.
