Amanda has flirted with the Southern California/Orange County homeschool community since her son turned four. Playing Jack of all Trades, Master of None, she has about a dozen or so hats to wear at any given time. With her 'life is learning is life' outlook, Amanda just marvels at this whole journey of truly living, feeling, growing, and experiencing the world with her (now teenaged) son.

Amanda firmly believes in the importance of giving back to community – to participate in the world around oneself – that good changes can and will happen, if you just keep chipping away, learning new things, helping others when you can, and doing what you do.
