Judith Claudi-Magnussen has been homeschooling her daughter since 2008 and tends towards relaxed homeschooling methods supplemented with field trips and hands-on activities.  Currently Judith is the Troop Leader for a multi-level homeschooling Girl Scout troop, volunteers as an usher and outreach liaison for Soka University Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo, and supports her daughter’s love of dogs by participating with a local rescue organization, CARMA (Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid).  In her past life, Judith graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre.  She has also held positions ranging from logistics coordination for large fundraising events to finance and administration for several major non-profit organizations.
